Detox Weight Loss: Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits

Apple Cider Vinegar aka ACV is an old-fashioned home remedy which I was introduced to about a decade ago. I take at least two tablespoons everyday, and I swear it’s what keeps me healthy through the flu season when most of my clients are sick!

When my best friend Christine’s father Tom told me about it years ago, he suggested I read the book: Apple Cider Vinegar: Miracle Health System (Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar Miracle Health System: With the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle). Since, I have read it at least four times through and recommend it to many of my massage clients who get sick often.

Anyway, a little history on ACV and all of the benefits, is that users say it will help boost energy and your immune system, it will cure high blood pressure, allergies and arthritis, help with poor digestion. There is not a great amount of research, however based on my daily intake of it over the years it does indeed help with weight loss and sugar cravings.

With just 1 to 2 tablespoons of ACV daily, it significantly helped lower body weight and visceral fat. I have lost inches off of my waist and my digestion, and sleep patterns are much better than ever before! ACV contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, Vitamin C, E, B, A and many other nutrients. It helps break down fat, something many people have a problem with. ACV helps to restore the alkaline balance of the body because the the Standard American Diet has caused our bodies to become too acidic. I have tried to balance my body daily by taking ACV and changing my daily diet. I eat clean and do not follow the Standard American Diet, as I feel it includes far too many processed foods that are not healthy, which also can cause chronic health problems, diabetes, poor immune system and leaves me weak.

I take ACV to help balance the acidity in my body and keep me fit and healthy daily.

According to users, Apple Cider Vinegar’s other benefits include:

There are so many reasons you should use ACV.

Here are some of my favorite natural ACV remedies…

Did you know that it can make your hair shine!?

Seriously…it can be used as a rinse for your hair after shampooing. I recommend filling up a recycled shampoo bottle with a 1/2 a tablespoon of ACV and a cup of cold water. Pour this magic potion through your after after you shampoo a few days a week. You will see dramatic shiny results.

ACV removes stains from your teeth.

Rub teeth with ACV and rinse with water.

ACV is an all-natural massage treatment.

The smell of ACV may not be appealing to rub all over you, but the benefits of rubbing your hands and feet will give you much relief!

It can soothe sunburnt skin.

This is one of my favorite sunburn remedies! Add a cup of ACV to your bath, and soak for 10 minutes to eliminate discomfort from sunburn.

Apple cider vinegar can aid in weight loss.

Daily add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to 16 ounces of water and sip throughout the day. There are many studies that show weight loss benefits from consistent daily intake of acetic acid, which is a main ingredient in ACV. Add stevia and lemon to taste.

Now that you have learned about the amazing benefits of ACV, lets start getting this healthy remedy in your body! Every morning you can begin your day with either of these delicious ACV drinks.
