My latest piece for Massage Magazine, “Working With High-Profile Massage Clients Pre-COVID-19 & During The Pandemic” is live here. 📖 During this unprecedented time I’ve found a deeper love for self-care, conversations and yoga sessions over FaceTime and Zoom, binge watching Netflix shows, pool workouts, and lots of hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains nearby.

Aaron Donald Gets a Massage & Self-Care Tips For NFL Athletes
I played water polo for 11 years, and 5 of those years were at the Divison 1 level with San Jose State University. I wrecked havoc on my body and watched all of my athlete friends do the same. It’s amazing that I fell into massage therapy, treating fellow athletes was always a dream and
NBA Awards Show
At the end of June I was blessed to travel with my client to New York for the first-ever NBA Awards Show. Traveling to the city that never sleeps is always a good time; especially since this trip was all about me working late hours and on-call!

I love traveling with my clients, I feel so fortunate where my work has taken me over the years. It’s my favorite thing to do, as I get to explore a new city, meet new people and work crazy hours! This summer I have been very busy locally in Los Angeles and out of state.
Canna Massage
With over 10 years of massage therapy experience, I finally got turned on to Canna Massage Oil. I knew cannabis was an amazing healing tool already when ingested, so I had to try it topically in my massage practice. I’m always trying to expand and provide the best options for my clients. So, when

Justin Timberlake: The 20/20 Experience World Tour
It’s always a good time when I’m massaging backstage with The Tennessee Kids at the Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience World Tour show. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to work with Team Bassic Black, and The Tennessee Kids at The Forum.

Walk to DeFeat ALS Los Angeles
This past weekend I took part in the annual Walk to DeFeat ALS in Los Angeles, with The ALS Association Golden West Chapter. This was my 12th year participating in the walk, and it’s a very bittersweet day for my family. On Sunday October 19th, at Exposition Park, near USC in downtown Los Angeles, I set up my massage booth. This was the third year providing massage at the ALS Walk, and I feel so honored to do so, as it’s very near and dear to my heart.
BlackRoll Foam Rollers
When I get out of bed in the morning I often trip over my BLACKROLL® foam rollers on my floor. They are a reminder to foam roll first thing in the morning and the last thing before going to sleep.
Do you foam roll? If not, you must start adding this to your daily routine! I highly recommend foam roller exercises for alleviating body aches and pains. I’m a massage therapist, so I have to care for my body more than most, and foam rolling is second nature to me. Plus, I have been an athlete my entire life, so massage and foam rolling have always been something I’ve always done to feel better. I’ve been rolling since college in 2000, so I’ve had plenty of experience testing out different products.
Foam Roller Exercise Fun!
Last year I worked with with Alicia Keys during their tour prep. It was an amazing experience! Since then I have worked with many bands, dancers and performers while they travel thru Los Angeles. During the AK tour prep, I was working with the dancers, band and crew; not only doing massage but also incorporating a lot of stretching in the routine I did. I also preached how important foam roller exercises can be, especially for the dancers. This blog post was written with the AK Tour team in mind.
Eminem x Rihanna The Monster Tour
The Monster Tour hit Los Angeles last week, featuring the collaboration of two of music’s biggest superstars, Eminem and Rihanna.
I was honored to do massage backstage with Team Bassic Black at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Today I feel super blessed having the opportunity to work with Rihanna’s band and meet so many talented musicians. The two shows were both sold out and the energy was just insane.
Surfers Healing Malibu
On June 7th I had an amazing and inspiring day, while doing massage therapy at the Surfers Healing Malibu event.
Surfers Healing seeks to enhance the lives of kids with autism, thru the experience of surfing. It’s founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz, after their son, Isaiah, was diagnosed with autism at age three. Most autistic children suffer from sensory overload, sensations of feeling overwhelmed, distracted and most children have serious melt downs. The ocean is a place where Isaiah felt calm and at peace.
Malibu Earth Dreams Festival
I love working locally, especially in Malibu, next to the beach, on a farm with a beautiful view! 🙂
Last weekend I had a massage booth at the Malibu Earth Dreams Festival, at the Vital Zuman Organic Farm. It was a pretty beautiful day, and I met some new clients and many festival goers.
Corporate Massage with Equis Staffing
Last week I provided corporate massage for Equis Staffing in Calabasas. It was a surprise and the employees were so thankful and happy!
Why corporate massage?
There are so many benefits of having a massage in a corporate environment. I set up a portable massage chair in a conference room or any other unused office space at your location. This ensures for privacy and makes you feel comfortable while getting a massage at work.
Dallas Cowboys Training Camp
This month I had the opportunity to provide massage therapy at the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp in Oxnard, CA. It was a great experience working with some of the best players in the NFL; including Jason Witten, Jason Hatcher and Tyron Smith. These guys work so hard, and the benefits of massage therapy for professional athletes is tremendous!
Alicia Keys Tour
Recently, I had the opportunity to work at Sony Studios with Alicia Keys, her band, dancers and production crew. Everyone on the Alicia Keys Tour was truly amazing and so talented!
