At the end of June I was blessed to travel with my client to New York for the first-ever NBA Awards Show. Traveling to the city that never sleeps is always a good time; especially since this trip was all about me working late hours and on-call!
I love traveling with my clients, I feel so fortunate where my work has taken me over the years. It’s my favorite thing to do, as I get to explore a new city, meet new people and work crazy hours! This summer I have been very busy locally in Los Angeles and out of state.
This year I was lucky enough to be in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards, held at the T-Mobile Arena. It was my first time at this event and I’m so blessed to have been in attendance. There were so many amazing artists that performed, and some of my favorites were; Drake, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Sam Hunt, and Ed Sheeran. Everyone was so amazing!
During the Billboard Music Awards 2017 I worked late nights through the early morning, and it’s becoming more and more normal for me. I love my crazy schedule, it’s what makes my life so entertaining!
Thank you to my client for inviting me to be a part of your team!
Below are some photos from the weekend in Sin City!
I love MGM Grand!

With over 10 years of massage therapy experience, I finally got turned on to Canna Massage Oil. I knew cannabis was an amazing healing tool already when ingested, so I had to try it topically in my massage practice. I’m always trying to expand and provide the best options for my clients. So, when my friend in Hawaii suggested using cannabis massage oils and salves, I decided to try it and was soon hooked!
Infused massage oils don’t get you stoned. But they do have a way of opening up the skins sensory, and making you feel elevated and relaxed. I’ve used cannabis massage oils on athletes, musicians, and older folks.
When you combine these oils with an experienced massage therapist, the cannabis oil becomes a very powerful tool against pain.
Apply gently to the skins surface, rub it in, and allow time for the oil to take root below the skin surface, muscles and tendons. The pain will subside when you use topical cannabinoids, because they are antioxidants and an anti-inflammatory agents. It will relieve many ailments and you will sleep like a baby. I’m a fan!
Here are more reasons to get turned on to a Canna Massage Oil…

Back in March I was invited onto JENeration iHeart radio show with Jen Tapiero. It was my first radio interview, and I was excited to have done it along side a friend of mine. Singer, Vernon Burris and I were both guests and spoke about How music is therapeutic!!!! As you know, I’m a massage therapist and most of my clients are in the music and entertainment industry. In the interview, I gave advice about life, how to handle stress, how massages help control stress and the mind & body. Vernon discussed his upcoming music and tour life with Justin Bieber and many other artists.

This past weekend I took part in the annual Walk to DeFeat ALS in Los Angeles, with The ALS Association Golden West Chapter. This was my 12th year participating in the walk, and it’s a very bittersweet day for my family. On Sunday October 19th, at Exposition Park, near USC in downtown Los Angeles, I set up my massage booth. This was the third year providing massage at the ALS Walk, and I feel so honored to do so, as it’s very near and dear to my heart.
When I get out of bed in the morning I often trip over my BLACKROLL® foam rollers on my floor. They are a reminder to foam roll first thing in the morning and the last thing before going to sleep.
Do you foam roll? If not, you must start adding this to your daily routine! I highly recommend foam roller exercises for alleviating body aches and pains. I’m a massage therapist, so I have to care for my body more than most, and foam rolling is second nature to me. Plus, I have been an athlete my entire life, so massage and foam rolling have always been something I’ve always done to feel better. I’ve been rolling since college in 2000, so I’ve had plenty of experience testing out different products.
Last year I worked with with Alicia Keys during their tour prep. It was an amazing experience! Since then I have worked with many bands, dancers and performers while they travel thru Los Angeles. During the AK tour prep, I was working with the dancers, band and crew; not only doing massage but also incorporating a lot of stretching in the routine I did. I also preached how important foam roller exercises can be, especially for the dancers. This blog post was written with the AK Tour team in mind.
The Monster Tour hit Los Angeles last week, featuring the collaboration of two of music’s biggest superstars, Eminem and Rihanna.
I was honored to do massage backstage with Team Bassic Black at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Today I feel super blessed having the opportunity to work with Rihanna’s band and meet so many talented musicians. The two shows were both sold out and the energy was just insane.
On June 7th I had an amazing and inspiring day, while doing massage therapy at the Surfers Healing Malibu event.
Surfers Healing seeks to enhance the lives of kids with autism, thru the experience of surfing. It’s founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz, after their son, Isaiah, was diagnosed with autism at age three. Most autistic children suffer from sensory overload, sensations of feeling overwhelmed, distracted and most children have serious melt downs. The ocean is a place where Isaiah felt calm and at peace.
Last week I provided corporate massage for Equis Staffing in Calabasas. It was a surprise and the employees were so thankful and happy!
Why corporate massage?
There are so many benefits of having a massage in a corporate environment. I set up a portable massage chair in a conference room or any other unused office space at your location. This ensures for privacy and makes you feel comfortable while getting a massage at work.
This month I had the opportunity to provide massage therapy at the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp in Oxnard, CA. It was a great experience working with some of the best players in the NFL; including Jason Witten, Jason Hatcher and Tyron Smith. These guys work so hard, and the benefits of massage therapy for professional athletes is tremendous!
I’ve been super busy working my massage summer sessions at various events in California. After working at the US Open of Surfing event in Huntington, I did massage at the Warped Tour, and at the Jennifer Lopez concert for all the JLo dancers. Later in the summer I also had the opportunity to do massage at the Freestyle Session b-boying event at Club Nokia and the MSA Malibu Classic SurfAid Cup Invitational.
